HMFMC #355 Anything Goes/optional theme "Snow or Glitter"

Hello and happy Monday.

It's time for a new theme at the  House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge,

This time the lovely Karin is hosting and the theme is 

ANYTHING GOES

 SNOW and/or GLITTER

 

 

I have made a wintery scene using Ornament Sled.

I think this image is going to be a favourite of mine.

 

The papers are the same as last week- from Maja Design.

The card shape is made with a die from Card Deco.

 

I wanted to write the danish word SNE (means SNOW)

but one letter from the alphabeth from Altenew was missing.

My E is gone! 

Hopefully I'll find it one day.

 

I wanted to make a card with a lot of snow, so I found the frantage 

and sprinkled it over the coloured image and heated it up.

My first attempt resulted mostly in gold look, 

so I put on more Frantage..... You can see the result here!

A littel mouse covered in snow, you can hardly see him!

 

I desided to colour up a new image and this time

card witout the Frantage.

 

In the future we can have a House Mouse challenge

with a 'Snow Storm' theme and my image is ready on my desk ;)

Hi out there, it's Monday and time for a new

I have made a white on white card using this little cutie for the first time. 

I'm not sure what it's called, but I love it!

W and X are for....DT cards for ABC Christmas Challenge

It's november and time to two new letters at 

ABC Christmas Challenge.

 

Lynda is our host this month, and the letters-and themes- are:

 

W is for WHIMSICAL

and/or

X is for XEROX 

 

 

First out is my W for Whimsical.

 

For this cute Christmas card I've used an old image

from Whipper Snapper called Gingerbread House.

I must admit that it is the first time I've used it-

shame on me!

 

 

The papers are from Wild Rose Studio, the sentiment from LOTV

and the embossing folder from Cuttlebug.

 

The next cards are the X for Xerox,

Four of them.

 

I wanted to make four cards like this, but the die was 

really tricky and I had to run it through the cutter several

times to make all the pine twigs (is this the right word?)

 

 

So I decided to make two pine cards and two

with snowflakes.


 

But all of them with the same embossed tekst 

saying 'Happy Christmas'

 

 

Four more cards for mi Christmas card pile, well

five with the Whipper Snapper one.

Welcome October and welcome to a new challenge at 

ABC Christmas Challenge.

 

Julie is our host this month and the themes are:

 

U is for Under the tree

and/or

V is for Vocabulary (use words)

 

 First out is my U for Under the tree card.

 

 Now I guess you are thinking 'Under the tree? This doesn't make sense!'

But my reasoning is; where are the gifts before they are unwrapped?

The answer- Under the tree.

The stamp and die are from Concord&9TH,

and the long sentiment from Avery Elle.

I made a red one as well.

The two of them together.

My V for Vocabulary card is quick and easy,

a die and a sentiment from Kort og Godt and 

some golden glitter paper.

It's the first Wednesday of a new month, so that means it's time for a new  

ABC Christmas Challenge!

P,Q and R are for...., DT cards for ABC Christmas Challenge.

It's the first Wednesday in August, and time for some new letters at 

ABC Christmas Challenge.

 

Lindsey is our host and the letters are:

 

P for Plump (Robin, Father Christmas, Pudding)

Q for Quality Street ( use the chocolates or the colours)

 

R for Ribbon

 

 This time I've made three cards, but I couldn't find anything

fot the Q for Quality Street, so there are two P cards.

First out a P for Plump (Father Christmas)

The image is an old Whipper Snapper called 'Santa Face'.

 

And the papers are from??, I'm on vaccation in Denmark at the moment, 

and I can't remember the brand and have no chance to check it.

The sentiment is from LOTV.

 

Card number two is also with an oldie, this time

from Forever Friends. 

The papers are from Photoplay.

The hearts are punched out, and the holy border

made with a Martha Stewart punch.

And at last I had to use 'Snowy' from Penny Black.

Papers here form Maja Design, and a snowflake

made in glitter foam with a die from Merianne Design...(I think)

ABC Christmas Challenge N and O are for ?

It's the first Wednesday in July, so that means it's time for a new 

ABC Christmas Challenge.

N is for NORTH POLE

and

The image on my N for North Pole is from

Whipper Snapper. It's a favourite of mine, I have used it a lot.

The paper is from Echo Park and the die used on the edge is from Tim Holtz. 

The sentiment is in Norwegian saying ' Post from Santa, 24 December, North Pole'

My O for Off the side card is with 'Snowy'from Penny Black.

The papers are from Maja Design, his hat and scarf are paper pieced.

My card this time is really CAS and quick.

I have made this card using a die from Magnolia,

some twine, pearls and a sentiment saying

'Belive in the magic of Christmas' 

I was so sure I had an image from Stampavie with 

two mice sitting under a misteltoe.

But I couldn't find it. Panic!

So I had to make a plan B for the L and M challenge.

 

Since the card was so easy I made tree in a row.
