HMFMC # 332 Mid way reminder ATG option MONOCHROME!

Today I'm here with a reminder for the ongoing challenge at

House Mouse & Friends.

I have made a Christmas card using the colour blue-

blue is always 'safe' for me.

The image is called 'Tangle Tumble'.

 

 

When colouring up the image I could'nt think of making 

the wire any other colour than green.

But I should have chosen gray or black...

 

 

The papers are from Maja Design and the snowflake die

I have used is from Marianne Design.

 

Beneath the image there is a hidden sentiment

saying 'Best wishes for a Merry Christmas

and a peaceful New Year'.

Because of my leak of Christmas cards last year, I have decided to make more of them

on a regular basis . Let's see how long this statement lasts...

 

The image is called 'To Santa', and I'm using it for the first time.

The design paper is from Fabscraps- very old I think, 

but I like them a lot. The red is a perfect match to kraft.

ABC Christmas Challenge- A and B are for ?

Happy New Year and welcome to ABC Christmas Challenge.

We're starting our twelfth (!) trip through the alphabet,

and this years first challenge is hosted by Helen and the themes are:

 

A is for ADVENT!

B is for BELLS!

I have a card for each of the two themes.

First out my A for Advent card.

 

I have used my dear Snowy from Penny Black once again!

 

The background is embossed with a folder from Cuttlebug, and Frostys 

hat and scarf are paper pieced with purple paper. 

The colour of Advent is as you might know purple. 

My B for Bells card.

Another Penny Black stamp used for the B card. This image is 'new' to me, 

I have bought it used and stamped it up for the first time.

It's called 'Caroling Bunch'.

The paper is from Maja Design, the vellum with nodes is old stuff

from my drawers, and the sentiment is from LOTV.

I hope you all had a fine Christmas and came safely into 2021.

 

My hope for 2021 is that we can return to the 'normal' we know and miss.

I just love this image!

You can use it for so many occasions ; Christmas, birthday, anniversary or New Year.

I used it for a couple of cards last year, it's easy to colour and

not diffecult to match with your design paper.

Todays card is made without designpaper, 

insted I have embossed a piece of gold paper with a folder from Craftwell

and made a Happy New Year card.

 

The golden ribbon is old and from Stoff og Stil and the sentiment is from LOTV.
