A and B are for... DT cards for ABC Christmas Challenge.

Hi and Happy New Year!

 

I hope you are ready for a new round through the alphabet,

we- the DT members- at ABC Christmas Challenge  

can't wait to se your Christmas projects.

 

Helen is hosting this first  ckallenge of the year.

The letters are A and B, and the themes are:

 

A for Anything Christmas Goes

and/or

B is for Baubles.

 

 

I have made two projects for this challenge.

First out the 'A for Anything Christmas Goes', 

 

A set of four drums in a little boks and to go with it

a matching tag with an image from Whiff of Joy.

 

 The drums are made with a die from Dan Dies,

and decorated with drumsticks and some leaves

  A great little something for someone.

 

 

 

My B for Baubles is a tag made with a lovely die

from Hero Arts

 

 

 

The 'Merry' is a die from Altenew and the 'Christmas'

stamp is from Simon Says.

 

The prize this time is from Helen

A selection of Christmas ribbons & a couple of 'Me to You' clear stamp sets.

HMFMC #355 Anything Goes/optional theme "Snow or Glitter"

Hello and happy Monday.

It's time for a new theme at the  House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge,

This time the lovely Karin is hosting and the theme is 

ANYTHING GOES

 SNOW and/or GLITTER

 

 

I have made a wintery scene using Ornament Sled.

I think this image is going to be a favourite of mine.

 

The papers are the same as last week- from Maja Design.

The card shape is made with a die from Card Deco.

 

I wanted to write the danish word SNE (means SNOW)

but one letter from the alphabeth from Altenew was missing.

My E is gone! 

Hopefully I'll find it one day.

 

I wanted to make a card with a lot of snow, so I found the frantage 

and sprinkled it over the coloured image and heated it up.

My first attempt resulted mostly in gold look, 

so I put on more Frantage..... You can see the result here!

A littel mouse covered in snow, you can hardly see him!

 

I desided to colour up a new image and this time

card witout the Frantage.

 

In the future we can have a House Mouse challenge

with a 'Snow Storm' theme and my image is ready on my desk ;)

The striped paper is from 7gypsies, I have has them for ages.

The word 'Takk' (Thank you)  is cut out with dies from Altenew

and raised with foam.

At the back I have made a little special 'Handmade by Dorte' using 

a part of the image masked with my personal stamp.

W and X are for, DT cards for ABC Christmas Challenge

November is here and it's time for a new challenge at

ABC Christmas Challenge.

 

Lynda is our host and the themes are:

 

W for Winter Wonderland

and/or

X for Xtra Speciel 

My W for Winter Wonderland card is featuring a Penny Black image

called 'Sled Ride', super cute I think. 

The papers are from Maja Design.

The snowflake and the tree are cut out in foam with glitter,

with dies are from Memory Box and Magnolia.

 

 

 

My X for Xtra Special project are tags meant to be used for 

calendar gifts for my 'boys'. They are age 26, 23 and 21 and

have started their own life now. 

 

But I'm still making them advent calender with four gifts-

one for every Sunday in December

So here you see the first four tags made with the cute die and stamp set 

from Altenew,'Merry Reindeer ' is the name. The papers are from......

yes, Maja Design (your guess was right)

One of the gifts that contains gingerbread dough and cake tins from IKEA, hyssss

don't tell it to the boys.....

 

My boys were here last week and I thought it would be better 

to transport the heavy gift in the suitcase, instead of sending by mail.

Hopefully the Security guard at the airport could see it wasn't TNT....

J and K are for... A DT card for ABC Christmas Challenge.

Hello there!

It's time for a new challenge at ABC Christmas Challenge.....I'm the host

this month and the themes are:

J is for JOY!

and 

K is for KING!

 My collection of stamps do not include anything 'King'.

So I decided to play with the 'Joy' theme and made these two cards.

First out a card in red and gold. 

The stars and the star wreth are made with a die from Avery Elle,

and the word 'Joy' is cut out with a die from Hero Arts.

The paper is older than old, its from BoBunny

Card two is white in white, an embossed background with snow,

and the big letters J and Y with a snowflake as the O.

The dies used are from Altenew and Memory Box.

I love the way these two cards came out in the end!

This cute snowman die is the prize to a lucky random winner.

N and O are for? A DT card for ABC Christmas Challenge.

ABC Christmas Challenge - H and I are for.....

It's the first Wednesday in the month

and time for some new letters at ABC Christmas Challenge.

Lynda/Loopyloo is hosting her first challenge ever so

please welcome her.

 The themer are:

'H is for Hang It Up'

&

'I is for Intricate'

There are two awesome prizes on offer from our lovely Lynda

My first card is a 'H for Hang it up'.

I've used paper from Maja Design- as always-
and some new dies from Hero Arts and Altenew.

The word 'Wishes' is cut out three times and glued together.
The dot over the 'i' disappeared in the process!

Card number two- I for intricate'- is also made with Maja Design paper
 and two new Hero Arts and Altenew dies.

And yes both dies from Hero Arts are for sure intricate,
it took me a long time to remove pieces from in between!
But well worth it.
