My card this time is a birthday card for my brother in law.

It's sometimes difficult with those masculine cards without stash!

 

 

 I have made a quick slimline card with the cute Monica and the image called

'Oh! Happy Days'

 

 Sweet little Monica, jumping in joy!

 

The die and shaddow is from Papirdesign- it says congrats.

'Gratulerer ' is cut out in black foam, and the checkered paper is from Fabscraps (?).

The tekst means 'A heartfelt greeting'.

Because of my leak of Christmas cards last year, I have decided to make more of them

on a regular basis . Let's see how long this statement lasts...

 

The image is called 'To Santa', and I'm using it for the first time.

The design paper is from Fabscraps- very old I think, 

but I like them a lot. The red is a perfect match to kraft.

Endelig 18 år!

Rundt omkring vores 'mindste' begynder vennerne at fylde 18 år.

Det er en stor begivenhed for de fleste og der bliver holdes fester,

 så kort skal der til.

 Heldigvis har jeg dette fantastiske stempel fra 'Woodware', det er

hurtigt at lave et kort med og let at lave det mere eller mindre pyntet.

På dagens kort er papiret fra Fabscraps og stjernerne er lavet med en Spellbinder die.

Jeg er nok nødt til at lave nogle flere 18 års kort, og om tre år har jeg dette stempel klar.

L for......, a DT card for ABC Christmas Challenge.

Mandy and the rest of the design team at ABC Christmas Challenge

are ready with a new letter for you.

We are up to the letter L, and this time we want you to tell us what L is for!

L is for things beginning with L!

( lime green, lights, lanterns, laughter, etc. Get creative and show us what you've got!)

Going through some of my stuff I found this image from Sara Kay, 

coloured a long time ago and ready to use!

The papers are from Fabscraps and the round sentiment from LOTV.

The round ribbon is recycled from this project, and the stars are old,

so old I that I can't remember where they are from.

My L are Lads, Lights and Lost!

Can you se the white spot over the four lights?

When I uploaded my card to the challenge blog I found out that a

one of the three stars was missing.

Luckily I had an extra to glue on before I had to take a new pic.

My card is made with a super cute image from Stampavie.

I have borrowed the stamp from a friend of mine and I'm not sure what it's called.

The papers are from Fabscraps and the sentiment from LOTV.

The beautiful poinsettia die is new for me,

it's a Memory Box die. A bit tricky to cut out, 

but the metal adapter makes it a lot easier.

As you might notice the picture of the cards back side is missing today.

Making my post last night I realized that I've forgotten to

finish that part of the card. 

Shame on me!!

Vi pynter til jul....

Ja jeg ved godt at det er lidt for at tidligt mine søde House Mouse

pynter til jul, men da dette stempel 'tilfældigvis' dumpede

ned i min postkasse for nogle dage siden, var jeg nødt til at bruge det.

Jeg blev lidt overrasket over hvor stort det var, men til denne 

sketch passede det perfekt.

  

'Deck the Halles' hedder det, og bare vent; inden vi får set os om er det jul.

Det kan være det var på tide at begynde....

Det stribede papir er fra Fabscraps, jeg skulle egentlig ikke

købe papir den dag jeg så det, men det blev en 'Skal Ha',

og op i kurven med det.

Kender I det?

Rundt omkring motivet har jeg brugt Frantage Embossing pulver.

Jeg synes det er svært at få på i rigtig mængde-

og få det til at se sådan lidt tilfældigt ud.

Knap og hessian-bånd er det eneste pynt på kortet.

Bagsiden ligner forsiden til forveksling.

Hurra, konfirmationsindbydelserne er sendt! 

 Jeg er så langsom til at bestemme mig for

 hvordan ting skal laves!

For længe siden besuttede jeg mig for hvilken stil

indbydelserne skulle være i, købte diverse dies og stempler

og fandt omsider det papir jeg ville bruge.

Men vejen derfra har været lang!

Efter diverse prøveprojecter, et træf på Hobbyhimmelen

med hyggelige scrappevenner og diverse frem og tilbage,

blev resultatet som I ser her

Motivet er 'Umbrella Man' fra Tim Holtz, 

stemplet har desværre fået en trandportskade

så jeg var nødt til at ha' gang i den sorte tuch.

I ser det på hans venstre skulder, øv.
Jeg har bestilt et nyt!

Papiret er fra FabScraps.

Embossingfolderen er også en Tim Holtz ting,

Jeg tror den kommer til at blive brugt meget på 

mine fremtidige drenge/mandekort.

De dies jeg har brugt er fra Spellbinders.

Konfirmanten skrev for nogle år siden et vers om Tid.

Jeg synes det er utrolig fint og passede godt her.

Dien jeg her brugt til verset har jeg lånt af Henriette; tusind tak. 

Hvis du er rigtig heldig, får du dem igen.

 

I min ubeslutsomhed kom jeg på at snorene

 også kunne ordnes sådan...

Forøvrigt glemte jeg mit sædvanlige 

'lavet af' stempel på bagsiden.

Nu arbejdes der med bordkort, sangskjuler og bordækning!
