ABC Christmas Challenge N and O are for ?

It's the first Wednesday in July, so that means it's time for a new 

ABC Christmas Challenge.

Wilma is our host this month, the letters/teams are:

 

N is for NORTH POLE

O is for OFF TO ONE SIDE

The image on my N for North Pole is from

Whipper Snapper. It's a favourite of mine, I have used it a lot.

The paper is from Echo Park and the die used on the edge is from Tim Holtz. 

The sentiment is in Norwegian saying ' Post from Santa, 24 December, North Pole'

My O for Off the side card is with 'Snowy'from Penny Black.

The papers are from Maja Design, his hat and scarf are paper pieced.

As I've told you before I have a soft spot for snowman images;

always cute and easy to combine with my favourite colours, blue and white.

But for todays card I've tried some new colours, red and green!

And I must say I love the way it turned out.

The shape on the lover edge is made with a die from Tim Holtz.

The papers are from My Mind's Eye, the  'Mistletoe Magic' collection,

and the paper with the dots is embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder.

I love the colours together with Kraft.

Forårets sidste konfirmationskort.

Det er på tide at få blogget forårets sidste konfirmationskort.

Det er et tagkort lavet til min nevø i Danmark.

Stemplet er 'Umbrella Man' fra Tim Holtz og det

er stemplet på papir fra Panduro.

Tandhjulene er lavet med en Spillbinder die.

Bundet til båndet er der en lille kuffert.

Inden i mit favorit tekststempel til konfirmanter,

det er fra Norsk Stempelblad.

Endnu et tandhjul på bagsiden, og mit 'Håndlavet af' stempel.

I have used one of Krista's sweet digi's for today's card-

it's called Christmas Angel, and you can find her here.

Once again a shaped card with a die from Go Kreate.

The paper is kraft combined with dp from Maja Design,

and all edges are distressed with Vintage Photo.

Stickles added to her wings and the ornaments,

the sentiment is a part of the dp.

There is a piece of cheeseclot behind the image,

when I see it used on your cards it always look

awesome, but I'm struggling with using it.

It's so hard to make it look random!!

and a big snowflake made with a Spellbinder die.

Til en cool fyr.

Min yngste fylte 14 år i går, og blev fejret som fortjent

og vi havde en dejlig dag med en stor del af vores danske familie. 

Til en fødselsdag hører selvfølgelig et fødselsdagskort, 

som jeg naturligvis havde lavet. 

Jeg har lavet et easelkort med 'Joye' fra 'Stamp-It', mønsterpapiret 

er fra 7Gypsie, det samme som jeg har brugt på disse kort

For at ramme rigtig farve på t-shirten har jeg lavet den i mønsterpapir.

Live The Life.....

Vores store 'dreng' fylder 19 år i weekenden, og skal selvfølgelig ha'

både gaver og hjemmelavet kort.

For et par uger siden så jeg kort der lignede dette meget.

Desværre husker jeg ikke hvor eller hos hvem.

Stemplet fra Tim Holz har jeg haft i et års tid,

men bare brugt det en gang før.

Det var til dette konfirmationskort til min mellemste.

Nu var det på tide at brug stemplet igen til dette kort.

Ingen mønsterpapir, bare glat sort og hvidt kartong

knapper, bånd og en kant punch..

De sorte knapper fandt jeg i en gammel knap-kasse fra mine

 forældres forretning. Der var en håndskrevet seddel i

 kassen hvor  prisen for knapperne stod på.

Tja kom med et gæt.....

25 ører for et dusin, altså 12 stk!

Christmas is coming closer...Mid way reminder for ABC Christmas Challenge.

Hi crafters,it's Wednesday once again, oh boy how time flyes.

Here is a mid way reminder for the ongoing

challenge at ABC Christmas Challenge.

But don't panic you have plenty of time to join in our

We have a lot of entries this first week,

more than 250 Christmas cards/projects!

I have had my first turn out to visit some of you,

and I've seen so many stunning, funny and gorgeous creations.

And you really do inspire me, thanks a lot.

Once again one of my new Magnolia images

- well new to me- 

because Tilda with Cross stitct heart is from the 

2011 Sweet Christmas Dreams collection.

She's in stock at Stamp and Create,

 one of our sponsors for this challenge.

I've made an easel card with the beautiful and glittery

 papers from Bo Bunny, 'Snowfall'.

I cut out Tilda and placed her in the 'Weathered Clock' 

 from Tim Holtz. The snowflakes are made with a punch.

There's a lot of Stickles added to Tilda's hat.

In the bottom of the card I made a place for a tag. 

I often do like this with easel cards.

I've attached a bit of ribbon, some silver tread

 and a snowflake charm onto the tag.

This piece of paper is a bit crazy, I think, but okay here.

It has lot of glitter as you see.

 I had blue glitter in my face when I went shopping later on!
