O for Overlay, a DT card for ABC Christmas Challenge

Hi and welcome to a new challenge at ABC Christmas Challenge.

 O is the letter,  Lols is our host and her theme is:

O FOR OVERLAY!

I have used an image given to us from our sponsor 'All Dressed Up',

it's a digi stamp and it's called 'It's Snowing'

I have a soft spot when it comes to snowmen! 

I printed the image directly onto the white card stock,

coloured it with my Prisma Color Pencils,

 embossed a piece of vellum and put that on top of the card.

The words 'Merry Christmas' is cut out in some glittery paper 

with a die from Simon Says Stamp

Here you can se the little cutie and his bird.

I loved this card so much that I had to make a pink version as well.

Hi I am Wendy Burns I live in Nottingham UK with my husband and

 two children who have been the inspiration behind the characters, in particular my daughter who has kept me up-to-date with blogging and trends. I work predominantly within the textile children’s wear market, fashion and interiors.

I trained as a textile designer and although my work is digital based, I love to retain that hand drawn /sewn feel which I hope comes across in my artwork.

Digital stamps is a new challenge for me and the opportunity to work with the All Dressed Up Team and has been very exciting, in particular the creative way my characters have been given individual personalities by the designers .

All Dressed Up is a newly launched blog with an enthusiastic team who are passionate about stamping.  The coordinators Marilyn and Tracy along with an amazing design team are also known as The Dressy Girls.

We have a friendly Facebook page, regular blog posts, tutorials, challenges and freebies. The stamps can be purchased from the Etsy shop which is updated on a monthly basis. We really are friendly bunch and would love to see your creations so please feel free to contact us and visit the All Dressed Up Challenge Blog.

Bruk Glitter, GDT hos 'My Besties' Norge.

For et stykke tid siden blev jeg spurgt om jeg havde lyst til

at være gæstedesigner hos 'My Besties' Norge,

og det takkede jeg naturligvis ja til, og det med stor glæde.

Teamet denne gang er

BRUK GLITTER!

Jeg er bagefter med at lave julekort, så jeg greb chancen til

at få lavet et mere. Motiver er IMG 952.

Det er altid extra spændende at skulle vise sine

kreationer udenfor de sædvanlige kredse, så jeg var nødt

til at vælge papir og farver som jeg ved jeg får til.

Papir fra Maja Design og blå/hvid er altid et 'safe' valg for mig.

Jeg har farvelagt med Prismacolor blyanter, og kommet glitter

på kanter af støvlerne. Rundt om motiver har jeg brugt Fran-táge.

Snefnuggene er lavet med en kant die fra Memory Box,

den er lavet i glitterpapir.

Sølvtråd med en charm og en lille perle pynter oppe i højre hjørne.

Lidt blomster blev der også plads til.

Jeg tror ikke dette kort skal sendes i posten!

Bagsiden er helt enkel, en strimmel

mønsterpapir og mit personlige stempel.

Nu håber jeg at mit kort har inspireret jer og

givet jer lyst til at deltage i 'Bruk Glitter' udfordringen .

W for Winter Wishes, a DT card for ABC Christmas Challenge.

Welcome to a new challenge at 

ABC Christmas Challenge.

Carissa is the host for the W challenge,

and the theme is

W for Winter Wishes !

I have used one of Krista's sweet digi's for today's card-

it's called Christmas Angel, and you can find her here.

Once again a shaped card with a die from Go Kreate.

The paper is kraft combined with dp from Maja Design,

and all edges are distressed with Vintage Photo.

Stickles added to her wings and the ornaments,

the sentiment is a part of the dp.

There is a piece of cheeseclot behind the image,

when I see it used on your cards it always look

awesome, but I'm struggling with using it.

It's so hard to make it look random!!

For the backside my personal stamp
and a big snowflake made with a Spellbinder die.

Twelve Days of Christmas, DT card for ABC Christmas Challenge.

It's Wednesday and the ABC Christmas Challenge team with

 Lacey as the host are ready with a new challenge for you.

The letter for today is T and stands for

Twelve Days of Christmas.

We want you to find inspiration for your creation 
in this Christmas song:

On the twelfth day of Christmas,
my true love sent to me
Twelve drummers drumming,
Eleven pipers piping,
Ten lords a-leaping,
Nine ladies dancing,
Eight maids a-milking,
Seven swans a-swimming,
Six geese a-laying,
Five golden rings,
Four calling birds,

Two turtle doves,

I guess you all are singing along.

My inspiration is 'Twelve Drummers Drumming'
 and I have used a sponsor image from Stamp Fairy
for my card. Lenny Music, it's called.

N for Not A Card, DT project for ABC Christmas Challenge.

Hello crafters, ABC Christmas Challenge here trying to save
the summer with a brand new challenge for you.

The weather here at my place is definitely great for crafting-
better than sunbathing and swimming!

But hopefully the summer will come. Those of you having fine
summer weather, please send some of it my way.

today's letter is N and the theme is


N for not a card.

I decorated a round box, using papers from Maja Design
and Clementine Winter from Stamp Fairy.

Darling Clementine is painted with Distress Reinkers,
and there's a lot of Stickles on the snow.

She is cut out because I wanted to emboss
the white background with a almost
new snowflake folder from Cuttlebug.

For once I have distressed the edges on the papers.

The original box was wooden colour, so first I painted it white.

The red ribbon fit perfect for the edge of the lid.
The text says 'Happy Christmas'.
I guess you could translate it yourself.

Please bear over with me, I'm showing you a lot of
photos today, of the box from different angles,
but I really love how it turned out.

The beautiful swirl snowflake border is made with a
die from Memory Box. It was a bit difficult
to cut it out, but with a bit of patience I did manage.

The ticket sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps, and the round
one in the bottom of the box saying 'Best wishes for a happy
Christmas and a happy new year' is from Unik Stempel Design.

I had to find a place for my usual 'Handmade by' stamp.

Time to relax, inspiration card for Prairie Fairy Designs!

It's Friday and it's my turn to I to share a creation I have
made with one of Roberta's sweet digi images.

Chef Gillian, she's called, and I love her!

I decided to make a Flip Tag card, inspired by this card made a while ago by Anita.

I think I'll use it together with a bottle of wine or some chocolate,
if somebody invites us for a barbecue during the summer ;)

The image is coloured with distress reinkers.

They are made with Perfect Pearls.

The flowers are from Nille, a shop where you can by
all sorts of things!

The design paper with summer colours are
Marrakech from Basic Grey.
