Til en dejlig pige!

Jeg har lavet et fødselsdagskort til en
dejlig pige som snart fylder 18 år.

Det er en stor dag.

Kortet er lavet efter sketchen fra marts måned hos Stempeleinmaleins.
Det er en blog med en månedlig sketchudfordring og en masse tutorials.

Jeg anbefaler stærkt et besøg.
Men først når du er færdig hos mig ;)

Inden i et stempel fra Tim Holtz, jeg synes det var
fint til en der skal ud i voksenlivet.

På den anden side en stribe af mønsterpapiret-
som er fra Maja Design-sammen med en bord
det er stanset ud med en Magnolia die.

Tilda er klippet ud og monteret på puder for at gi' dybde.
Blondekanten på bukserne har fået lidt Stickles.

Tekststemplene er fra Catslife Press.

Og ikke få chock nu, men jeg har farvelagt med mine Prismacolors!

Jeg synes Distresserne kan være lidt svære at bruge på store flader.
Så jeg var nødt til at prøve en anden vrid.

Bagsiden ligne forsiden, der blev plads til et par dies fra Spellbinders.

Min symaskine er lige kommet hjem fra justering/reparation,
så nu er den klar til at lave syninger på absolut ALT!

Fyr den af!!

Jeg har en ung mand som skal til 13 års fødselsdag senere i dag.
Der skal selvfølgelig et kort med.

Jeg lavede to nu jeg var igang, det ene kort med Black Bird.

Han er monteret på en dims som jeg lige nu
ikke kan huske hvad kaldes.
En slags spiral som gør at han kan bevæge sig.

Det andet er med den røde fugl, men ellers samme opsæt.

Slangebøssen er punchet ud med Wors Window punchen.
Græsset er lavet med en die fra Magnolia.
Skyerne er lavet med denne skabelon som Bev har lavet.

Her kan I fornemme 'dimsen'.

Jeg havde set den for længe siden på et kort,
og så startede den vilde jagt på at finde ud af
hvor den kunne skaffes.
Det lykkedes heldigvis som I ser.

Indvendig er der stemplet tillykke, med et stempel fra Kreativ Hobby.
Der er plads til en pengeseddel bag.

H for Hardwear, A Mid Way reminder at ABC Christmas Challenge

Today I'm posting a reminder for the ongoing challenge at

ABC Christmas Challenge.

The letter is H and stands for:

Hardwear.

Use some metal on your card, this can be
anything metal like brads, paperclips, charms,
pins, staples... We can't wait to see what you'll use.

My card today is monochrome, with the colours
blue and white, a lovely combination.

Papers from Basic Grey 'Eskimo Kisses'.

The image is 'James Bear- Sledging Along'
from LOTV. He's adorable!

The metal I have used on my card are the pins.

The ribbon is Seam Binding, I love the curly look.

On the image I have added a lot of stickles,
onto the snow and the ribbon on the gifts.

The sparkling snowflake is made with
a die from Marianne Design.

The inside is decorated a bit like my team mate Lacey does on her cards.
A punched border made in designpaper.

Maybe I'll name the way of decorating like this:
' The Lacey Way'

The front in miniatur, with my personal stamp.

Today I have inked up one of my new Gruffies,

'All Warm & Furry'.

You can find him here at the House-Mouse Design shop.

Oh my, he was tricky to colour. First I tried to

use my Distress Reinkers, but NO good.

I had another go, with the same lousy result!

I decided to dust of my Prismacolour Pencils

and give them a try.

My colouring is not perfect, but OK, I think.

I need to practice a lot more with them.

I have paper pieced the teapot.

The pearl swirl is from Prima (?), a gift from a blogging friend.

Thanks.

The ribbon is seam binding coloured with Glimmermist,

there's a little teapot charm, too.

I have used a swirl stamp from Stempelglede around the image.

It's not often I do that, and today I'm not happy

with the way it came out!

But when it's stamped it's stamped!!

The in side is decorated with the same Gruffie,

and a punched border, the punch is from Martha Stewart.

The back side came out like this today,

a Gruffie masked together with my 'handmade by' stamp.

I have used Dawny's sketch from Simon Says Stamp.

Konfirmationsindbydelser.

Hurra, konfirmationsindbydelserne er sendt! 

 Jeg er så langsom til at bestemme mig for

 hvordan ting skal laves!

For længe siden besuttede jeg mig for hvilken stil

indbydelserne skulle være i, købte diverse dies og stempler

og fandt omsider det papir jeg ville bruge.

Men vejen derfra har været lang!

Efter diverse prøveprojecter, et træf på Hobbyhimmelen

med hyggelige scrappevenner og diverse frem og tilbage,

blev resultatet som I ser her

Motivet er 'Umbrella Man' fra Tim Holtz, 

stemplet har desværre fået en trandportskade

så jeg var nødt til at ha' gang i den sorte tuch.

I ser det på hans venstre skulder, øv.
Jeg har bestilt et nyt!

Papiret er fra FabScraps.

Embossingfolderen er også en Tim Holtz ting,

Jeg tror den kommer til at blive brugt meget på 

mine fremtidige drenge/mandekort.

De dies jeg har brugt er fra Spellbinders.

Konfirmanten skrev for nogle år siden et vers om Tid.

Jeg synes det er utrolig fint og passede godt her.

Dien jeg her brugt til verset har jeg lånt af Henriette; tusind tak. 

Hvis du er rigtig heldig, får du dem igen.

 

I min ubeslutsomhed kom jeg på at snorene

 også kunne ordnes sådan...

Forøvrigt glemte jeg mit sædvanlige 

'lavet af' stempel på bagsiden.

Nu arbejdes der med bordkort, sangskjuler og bordækning!

Anything Goes With Flowers, DT card for FFF.

I have used 'Purrrfect Friends' one of Roberta's cute digi images.

She's a darling!

My design paper are from Maja Design,

flowers and ribbon from my stash.

   I haven't made a folded card in ages, so today I had to.

It's called a wiper card , I found a tutorial at the

WOJ inspiration blog.

I have one problem with wiper cards;

there is NO place to write a regard!

   

So I had to make a tag with a Magnolia doohickey

and stamped a sentiment at the front and wrote a 

little' hello' at the other.

The sentiment says something like:
' Getting older is great. When you consider the alternative'.

So sweet, arn't they ??

The border punch I've used is a favoutite of mine.
It's from Martha Stewart, great for even a male card.

I couldn't resist using the light chain with bubbles.

The checked ribbon is from my stash.

Todays back side is like always;
the front in miniatyr.

I have copied the way Lacey often decorates

the inside with some dp and a punched border.

I think it looks great, so Lacey, thank you for the idea!

Jeg vandt, jeg vandt

Jeg var så heldig at vinde Mars Utfordringen hos Kortgleder. 

Temaet var  Påske/Vår og jeg deltog med dette kort

Candy Gram it's called.

I was so inspired by Sue Kment's lovely card last week that I had

to make one myself with the same image.

I had to make a special 'made by' stamp at the back side.

 A little mousie masked together with the circle with my name.

 

 

 I have also decorated the inside a little bit.
