Sommerens fødselsdagskort er ved at være færdige,
og står klare på skrivebordet.

Nu hvor dette kort -som er til en af mine niecer- er klart,
mangler jeg kun at lave kort til husets
mindstemand som bliver teenager i august.

Stemplet er et digistempel fra Saturated Canary,
en af Kristas skønheder.

Hun var som freebie på Kristas blog for en tid siden.
Tusind tak, hun er bare dejlig.

I får ét gæt på hvor papiret er fra;
var der nogen som sagde 'Maja Design'?

Ja det er fuldstændig rigtigt.
Jeg havde bestemt mig for at jeg ikke skulle
købe nogle ark af sommerens 'Life in' serier.

Men senest i dag har jeg været på
Hobbyhimmelen for at supplere!

Man har vel et standpunkt til man tar et nyt, ikke?

Banneret er lavet med min genfundne Magnolia die.
Blomster punched med retropunchen i to størrelser
og pyntet med knapper.

Ellers har jeg haft gang i 'Barte-punchen' på kanterne af motivet.

'Happy Birthday' er lavet med en Martha Stewart punch.

Tekststemplet inden i er en freebie fra Create With TLC.

Ava pynter også her, sammen med en strimmel mønsterpapir.

Her ser I bagsiden med mit 'håndlavet' af' stempel.

Til kortet malede jeg først et motiv men jeg syntes ikke
det blev helt vellykket og lavede et nyt.

Men hvad skulle jeg så stille op med det
som var halvvejs mislykket?

Jeg havde ikke hjerte til at smide det ud.

Istedet kom jeg på at lave et bogmærke.

En scalloped cirkel, seam binding og et par
punchede hjerter, og det var det.

M for Make A Gift, DT card for ABC Christmas Challenge.

I know you have being waiting for this, the new challenge at
ABC Christmas Challenge.

Kelly is hosting this challenge, and I'm sure

M for Make A Gift.

Anything you would be making and giving as a present
for Christmas will do , it can be a paper crafted item,
something you have hand made, or something
you have made to have the gift in, a box or a paper bag.

For this challenge I knew at once
that I would decorate a candle.

This is a brilliant present, and it's easy to make.

I have used wonderful 'Titania' from Sugar Nellie,
she is coloured with my Prismacolour pencils.

I have added a lot of Stickles on to
the dress her wings and the star.

A checkered ribbon and some hemp rope
(is this the right word?)
and a snowflake charm as decoration.

I also made a tag to go with the candle,
using the same image,
stamped on kraft paper.

Added some Stickles and punched a snowflake border .

Of course I had to have my personal stamp on the back side.

I wrapped the candle into cellophane, tied the tag to the top
and my first little present for Christmas is ready.

Det bedste man kan sige om sommervejret som det er lige nu,
er at det egner sig glimrende til at pysle!

Det blev en våd St. Hans, og for første gang på flere år
var vi ikke på Storenes og se på bål. ØV.

Søndagen er blevet brugt til at lave et fødselsdagskort til
en charmerende lille pige der snart bliver 2 år.

Jeg har brugt et nyindkøbt stempel fra Lily of the valley,
Pom Pom hedder det. Rigtig sødt synes jeg.

Mønsterpapiret er 'Kioshi' fra Basic Grey.
Dejlige sommerfarver i lilla og grøn.

Banneret er lavet med en die fra Magnolia.

Den die var til min store ærgelse væk længe,
men pludselig en dag fandt jeg den, den havde
på et eller andet vis forvildet sig op i min store
snefnug punch fra Martha Stewart.

Ikke kom med nogen kommentarer om at jeg roder ting væk!

Jeg har helt overgået mig selv i brugen af blomster på dette kort.
Hele 6 stk! Og en lille sommerfugl blev der også plads til.

Kortet skal afleveres og ikke sendes,
så pynten skal ikke 'stemples' af postvæsnet.

Bagsiden behøver vel ikke den store beskrivelse,
den er som næsten altid en lille kopi af forsiden.

Time to relax, inspiration card for Prairie Fairy Designs!

It's Friday and it's my turn to I to share a creation I have
made with one of Roberta's sweet digi images.

Chef Gillian, she's called, and I love her!
You can find her in the Prairie Fairy Design Shop.

I decided to make a Flip Tag card, inspired by this card made a while ago by Anita.

I think I'll use it together with a bottle of wine or some chocolate,
if somebody invites us for a barbecue during the summer ;)

The image is coloured with distress reinkers.

They are made with Perfect Pearls.

The flowers are from Nille, a shop where you can by
all sorts of things!
