Mid-way reminder, #50 FFF Inspired by a Nursery Rhyme

For my card I have used Lewis at the beach. The dp is from Maja Design. The edge punch is from Fiskars. The sentiments is from Stampin Up, the word window punsh as well.

Lewis er da mega sød./Lewis is mega cute.

Jeg har brugt et House Mouse stempel i dag. Jeg har farvelagt med distress, det lille som er farvet da! Papirene er fra Maja Design.

For my card today I have used a House Mouse image. I have coloured with distress. The papers is from Maja Design.

Kantpunchen er fra MS, båndet købt hos Papirloftet.
Juletræ charmsen er fra WOJ og blomsten fra Prima.
En kælling fra hver by som min bedstefar ville ha sagt!

Hotspot tutorial

I am going to show you how I made my first Hotspot or Spotlight Technique card.
It is also my very first tutorial, so bear over with me......

Supplies

Two dies or punches
Image
StazOn
Distress or another colouring medium
Black cardstock







Step 1.

Stamp your image twice with black StazOn.











Step 2.

Decide what area you want to set focus on. It don't have to be the center. Try to move the die around.









Step 3.

Cut/punch out the part of the image you want as your hotspot area.

Cut/punch out a black circle a bit larger than the hotspot.







Step 4.

Colour the die cut/punched image.











Step 5.

Glue the two circles together, and layer them on the main image- at the right place!

Now your image is ready for you to make the card. Just finish it as usual.

Opbevaring af Distress ink

Hvor mange af os har ikke efterlyst en god måde at opbevare Distress ink på?
Mine refiller har jeg i en 2l isboks.

Jeg fandt denne boks på Panduro Hobby. Den er af plast, måler 24cm x 18cm x 3cm og har 36 rum.
Den er med låg.

Dette farvekort lastede jeg ned hos Marte for et stykke tid siden.
Man kan ændre størrelse på det.

Jeg klippede alle farverne med navn ud og klistrede på UNDER boksen. Ikke ned i !
Til sidst kontaktplast over alle de små farveklatter (under boksen)- det som klistrer på den ene side, kan også bruges til bøger.

En dråbe af hver farve, klar til brug, beskyttet mod støv og kattehår!
