Fødselsdagskort til Moster Olivia.

Jeg er med i en gruppe af hyggelige folk fra det

danske forum 'Scrapsisters', hvor vi sender fødselsdagskort til hinanden.

I dag fylder 'Moster Olivia' år og her er kortet som er sendt til hende.

Kortet er magen til dette kort, jeg synes det lange motiv 

egner sig godt til kortdesignet.

Jeg har brugt 2 af mine favoritter til kortet;

stemplet som er fra House Mouse og papir fra Maja Design.

Det runde tekststempel har jeg haft så 

længe at jeg har glemt hvor det er fra.

My card is made with a super cute image from Stampavie.

I have borrowed the stamp from a friend of mine and I'm not sure what it's called.

The papers are from Fabscraps and the sentiment from LOTV.

The beautiful poinsettia die is new for me,

it's a Memory Box die. A bit tricky to cut out, 

but the metal adapter makes it a lot easier.

As you might notice the picture of the cards back side is missing today.

Making my post last night I realized that I've forgotten to

finish that part of the card. 

Shame on me!!

Jeg fandt lige et par kort som jeg lavede for længe siden,

men bare aldrig har fået blogget. Det ene kommer her.

En Memory Box die brugt på hvidt papir og sølv-glitterpapir,

dernæst er den hvide udskæring monteret på 3D puder.

Hvis jeg ikke husker helt fejl er der glitterpapir

bag den hvide udskæring.

W for all White, a DT card for ABC Christmas Challenge.

It's time for a new theme at  ABC Christmas Challenge.

We are up to the letter W and it's my turn to host the challenge.

W for 'All White!'

My card for today is really quick to make. So if you are late

making your Christmas cards, you might have an idea here.

I have embossed a smooth white cardstock, punched a 

row of snowflakes with a Martha Stewart punch

and added some white pearls.

The sentiment on top is saying 

'Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year'.

I made another card similar to the first one,

but the second one- which in fact is my first- has a ribbon on.

That was because I messed up the stamping on my first attempt, 

and had to glue on a piece of white cardstock with a proper sentiment.

The ribbon is hiding my mistake!!

Vi pynter til jul....

Ja jeg ved godt at det er lidt for at tidligt mine søde House Mouse

pynter til jul, men da dette stempel 'tilfældigvis' dumpede

ned i min postkasse for nogle dage siden, var jeg nødt til at bruge det.

Jeg blev lidt overrasket over hvor stort det var, men til denne 

sketch passede det perfekt.

  

'Deck the Halles' hedder det, og bare vent; inden vi får set os om er det jul.

Det kan være det var på tide at begynde....

Det stribede papir er fra Fabscraps, jeg skulle egentlig ikke

købe papir den dag jeg så det, men det blev en 'Skal Ha',

og op i kurven med det.

Kender I det?

Rundt omkring motivet har jeg brugt Frantage Embossing pulver.

Jeg synes det er svært at få på i rigtig mængde-

og få det til at se sådan lidt tilfældigt ud.

Knap og hessian-bånd er det eneste pynt på kortet.

Bagsiden ligner forsiden til forveksling.

Snow-vember....

Endnu et julekort har set dagens lys- eller rettere; mangel på samme.

 Jeg synes der er blevet rigtig mørkt

om eftermiddagen efter vi stillede urene.

 

Kortet ligner dette til forveksling,  denne gang

har jeg farvelagt på kraftkarton. Motivet er fra LOTV.

 Jeg tror det er min første snemand på kraft.

Det var ikke så let at få hvidfarven til at dække.

Endnu engang de flotte blå og brune mønsterpapirer fra Maja Design.

En rigtig flot kombination synes jeg.

Lidt Stickles og bølgepap- som jeg har tigget i en butik-

og en tekst fra mønsterpapirets kant.

Ikke mere hokus pokus end det!
