I have made a Birthday cad for a blog friend of mine 

using 'Amanda Shines' and some papres from Basic Grey

I have coloured with my Prismas. 

To give the mirror a glossy surface I have added some Glossy Accent.

The butterflies are made with a MS punch and

decorated with some bling.

 

I have used sketch #88 from Papertake Weekly for my card .

Sushi eller.... Velbekomme!

Jeg har en sidste ting fra konfirmationen i maj som ikke er blogget.

Det er sangskjuleren fra konfirmantens brødre.

Som jeg før har nævnt er det tradition i Danmark at præsentere 

en festsang på en sjov måde.

Gerne på et vis som karakteriserer modtageren.

I'll try to introduce you to the Danish custom of "sangskjulere",
or "concealed songs", which is the first frase that springs to mind.

Being to a party in Denmark, it is customary to bring a newly written
song about the hosts or the wedded couple or the celebrated person.
And trying to introduce it in a funny or suprising manner.

On the web there are many funny ideas, and of course,
being a guest at a party you get a lot of inspiration
for your own contribution.

To our son's confirmation in May, we made two different concealers.

For længe siden så jeg denne ide hos en anden blogger.

Jeg var ikke sen til at kopiere ideen, her er resultatet.

Noget af det bedste den 'mindste' hos kan få er Sushi.

Vi køber den ofte hos vores lokale sushi sted- Fuumi.

Mit udgangspunkt er nogle klare holdere fra brugte thelys/fyrfadslys.

De er af plastik så det er ikke alt af maling der bliver der hvor det skal.

Men denne gjorde.

Projectet skulle selvfølgelig holdes hemmeligt, så det var med at udnytte

 tiden når den kommende konfirmant var på skolen og jeg havde fri.

Sangene er trykket på hvidt papir og follet og rullet til passende størrelse.

Den 'rå fisk' består af hobbyuld som man kan filte/tove, den findes i mange forskellige farver.

'Wakame' eller tangsalaten er lavet af silkepapirstrimler.

Her en bakke med færdige 'maki sushi'. 'Ingefæren' er filtstrimler.

Jeg sendte gemalen ned til Fuumi for at skaffe/købe  plastikbakker,

det var med stor skepsis og et ublu pengebeløb de gav dem fra sig LOL!

Jeg elsker at sysle med den slags, det er nok noget jeg og mine

søstre har fra vores kreative mor. Ingenting er bedre end

at få en helt 'crazy' ide og så prøve at få den til.

We are half way through the year now, and if you are a regular

For my card I have user a topper from LOTV,

the image is called 'Lots of Letters'.

The round Christmas sentiment is also from LOTV.

Today's card design is rather simple; papers from Maja Design,

ribbon and charm from my stash.

I'm sorry for not being around lately, but my blogger
dashboard has been ' out of order' for some days
and only shows one post at the time.
Today it's okay again ;).

The other thing is, I'm preparing for 3 weeks holidays,
trying to organize and coordinate a lot of things.

Hopefully things will calm down next week, until then; take care.

Forårets sidste konfirmationskort.

Det er på tide at få blogget forårets sidste konfirmationskort.

Det er et tagkort lavet til min nevø i Danmark.

Stemplet er 'Umbrella Man' fra Tim Holtz og det

er stemplet på papir fra Panduro.

Tandhjulene er lavet med en Spillbinder die.

Bundet til båndet er der en lille kuffert.

Inden i mit favorit tekststempel til konfirmanter,

det er fra Norsk Stempelblad.

Endnu et tandhjul på bagsiden, og mit 'Håndlavet af' stempel.

Der er lavaktivitet på min blog for tiden,

jeg har snart sommerferie og prøver at få diverse

DT kort og fødselsdagskort færdige før jeg rejser

Welcome to a brand new challenge at House Mouse & Friends.

Easy peasy, or what do you think?

I have made a Birthday card for a wonderful little girl in my family,

as you can see, she's turning four during the summer!

'Blowing Bubbles ' is a new stamp,

when I saw it for the first time, I knew it was a 'have to have' image.

And I'm sure you can follow me, when I tell you that

I couldn't resist shopping some more HM images.....

The girlie papers are some Christmas papers from Wild Rose Studio, 

I love the colours,and think they are suitable for a Birthday card as well.

On the edge I have used a punch from Martha Steward,

and the banner is made with a Magnolia die. 

The number and letters are made with

 the 'Dragonfly'alphabet Set from Quic Kutz.

Voilà; Dies and Punch, challenge completed!

At the back side I had to make a little special,

'handmade by' today. It's my round personal stamp

masked together with a happy looking mousy friend.

L for Little Gifts, a DT card for ABC Christmas Challenge.

We have a new challenge for you at 

ABC Christmas Challenge. This fortnight the theme is

L for Little Gifts!

I have made a shaped card using a die from Go Kreate. The image is stamped

on kraft and coloured with my Prismas.

I owe 'Jenny' from LOTV an excuse, I've always referred to

her as 'James the Bear', but suddenly I found out that

I was wrong. I'm sorry Jenny

The papers are from Magnolia, the hessian mesh ribbon is from 

The Ribbon Girl, and the cute charm from my stash.

Fiske(til)lykke..

Rigtig god Pinse til jer alle, jeg håber i nyder lang weekenden

og det flotte sommervejr.

Jeg prøver at få lavet nogle af de kort jeg skal bruge i 

sommer, men det er ikke så nemt når der

er andre ting som også kræver sit.

 Kortet er til min nevø som fylder år 23 juli.

Jeg har brugt en af de søde færdigmalede motiver fra LOTV.

Papiret er fra Maja Design.

Papiret er jo bare helt perfekt til motivet, og da jeg fandt det

afpillede fiskeskelet blandt mine maretime charms, var jeg solgt.

Den skulle bare med!

Bagsiden har det velkendte udseende.

Pludselig har mit 'logo' med 'Dorte' forsvundet og blevet til en 

hvid firkant. Er der nogen af jer der ved hvad som er sket??

Fancy Folds, a DT card for Stamp and Create with Magnolia.

 Welcome back Magnolia lovers!!

Stamp and Create with Magnolia is ready with a new challenge.

This time the teme is:

Fancy Folds!

 I have created a Magic card following this great tutorial.

The card was made for my nieces confirmation in May.

The card can stand by itself  and looks great on a gift table.

The sweet Tilda is 'Tilda with Daisy'

The papers are from Maja Design, ohhh I just love them.

The butterflies are made with a MS punch and decorated with
pearls from Storyteller.

Among the blue bow there's a little charm, a cross.

The picture doesn't really show it.

Inside the card there is a lot of space to write a regard.

The sentiment is from Stempelglede, saying something about 'Magic'.

Not difficult to make at all.

When I had finished photographing I had to start to look for the

banner. It had disappeared among all the flowers.

I had to add my personal stamp onto the back side.
