Fall Float, DT card for HM&FMC

Here is a quick card to remind you of the ongoing challenge at

House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge.

Our mega talented Teamie Kate, is hosting and has chosen the theme 

  Monochrome!

Once again I have used one of the new cling mounted stamps,
called 'Fall Float'. You can find it here at Joanna Sheen
or at House-Mouse Designs.

I have stamped my image at kraft and coloured it
with my Prisma Colour Pencils.

I find this image absoloutly adorable,
and perfect for an autumn card.

The card design is rather simple, I have made some
banners with design paper from Maja Design,
distressed the edges with Vintage Photo
and added some bling, easy peasy!

The sentiment is from LOTV.

A simple backside as well.

Milly Mae.

Torsdag og ikke længe til weekend.

Her hvor jeg bor har vi efterårsferie i næste uge,

det skal blive dejligt med nogle feriedage sammen med familien.

 Jeg har været i gang med mit anden 'My Besties' kort,

og jeg vil stadig fastholde at  disse motiver bør

 farvelægges i fuld dagslys !

 Men hun er da sød 'Milly Mae'

Jeg har prøvet at male efter 'Henriette' princippet,

dvs meget lidt farve; periodevis er jeg fornøjet

med hvordan jeg får det til. Men som flere jeg kender siger,

det er jo hjemmelavet, og behøver ikke være helt perfekt!

 Papiret er fra Maja Design, jeg regner ikke med at det 

er den helt store overraskelse.

Teksten på taggen er fra Hobbyboden.

Det er ikke så let at se, men der

er en hjertecharm bundet fast til båndet.

 Usædvanlig mange blomster til at være mig. 

Jeg tror det her bliver et 'aflevere-kort'

I kan ane en pynte-remse inden i kortet.

I begyndelsen jeg lavede kort dekorerede jeg altid alle fire sider. 

Det varede til den første jul hvor alle julekortene

skulle sendes til Norge, Danmark og det store udland.

Det kostede en mindre formue i porto, så nu er pynten reduceret.

Bagsiden ligner det sædvanlige opsæt.

What a beautiful Monday in my part of the world.

The sun is shining from a cloudless autumn sky.

The colours of autumn are on their way.

And this Monday is special, because 

House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge

I have used a new Cling Mounted Rubber Stamp called 'Hang On Tight',

a sweet image to use for a winter or Christmas card.

The papers in my favourite colours, blue and white,

are from Echo Park.

I have coloured with my Prismas, added a lot of Stickles, 

and some bling in the corner.

The round sentiment is from LOTV and the 

snowflakes are made with a die from Marianne Designs.

For the back side I have used little Monica 

together with my 'Handmade by' stamp.

Jagten på en die.....

Kender I det, man ser noget et eller andet sted,

og pludselig opstår der et akut behov for at eje det selv!

Jeg havde set denne Cuttlebug die brugt på flere 

kort hos Annette og dermed startede jagten.

Annette var dog hurtig ude med et tips, og dermed var dien snart i hus.

Første kort ud er et enkelt drengekort,

med papirer fra Heidi Swapp. 

Jeg synes de passede fint til en lille flyvetur .

Tekststemplet et fra Gitte, Hobbyboden.

 

I ligestillingens navn var jeg nødt til at lave et mere

piget kort, med blomsterpapirer fra Basic Grey.

Tekststemplet derpå er fra Kreativ Hobby.

 Bagsiderne på begge kort består bare af mit

personlige stempel i en scalloped oval.

Jeg synes ikke det var noget at fotografere.

knows that I love to use a sketch when 
I'm making my cards. 

So this challenge was an easy one for me.

Ever since I saw this 'Happy Little Gnome' for the first time,

I have loved him to pieces. Look at his happy little face,

and his lovely little toes coming out of the sock.

 So darn cute.

I have used papers from my favorite company,

Maja Design, and added a sentiment from LOTV.

I'm pleased with the colouring with my Prismas today,

but I do need some more colours.

The hearts are made with a punch and decorated with

twine and a button, easy peasy!

Fall Float, A mid-way reminder for HM&FMC.

Once again I have used 'Walking In The Forrest' by

Maja Design. I might be loving to use those papers in the end.

The image is a new cling-mount rubber stamp

called 'Fall Float' They are so easy to use and to store.

But I must admit; a wooden mount rubber stamp is something special.

My card is for a very close frind of us, who is turning 50 years

later in this week. The sentiment is saying 'Charm has no age'.

All edges are distressed with Distress Ink, Vintage Photo,

 but the image is coloured with Prismas.

I have put Stickles on to the leaf.

I couldn't resist making a little special

'Hand made by' today, cute I think!

Mit første My-Besties kort.

Endelig er jeg færdig med mit første kort med et My-Besties motiv.

Det er fødselsdagskort til vores store niece i Oslo 

som bliver 16 år senere i september.

Matchet op mod mine favourit mønsterpapirer i min yndlingsfarve,

 kan udgangspunktet blive bedre?

Jeg er nødt til at indse; at farvelægge My-Besties er ikke

aftenarbejde for gamle damer!

Det var ikke let at holde sig indenfor stregerne.

Dette søde motiv hedder 'Geeky Gertie'

Jeg blev såden passe tilfreds med resultetet, og husk 'øvelse gør mester!'

Blomster og perler er fra mine gemmer.

Fall Feathers or Leaves !

 

Use a Fall Themed image and add either Feathers or Leaves to your card.

What do we consider a Fall image?

Back to School, Leaves, cooler weather, windy, brooms, Halloween,

 "Thanksgiving"(American and Canadian holiday but is often

 a time of giving thanks), Birthdays. 

Colours are usually darker: Orange, Brown, Purple, Red, etc...

Prize:

Stamp and Create carries a wide range of Magnolia stamps at some

 of the lowest prices!

For my card I have used 'Autumn Tilda with Broom' a wonderful image

usefull for many occations as autumn, birthday or Halloween.

I was sure I had a stamp for Tilda to sit on, like a  tree trunk or a mushroom.

But no!  Instead I used this banner like image with a heart,

from  HÂnglar och Stânglar, and masked those two together.

It's a long time since I have used my Distress Inks, but today was the day.

Green trousers and a paper pieced sweater and scarf.

The design papes are from Maja Design 'Walking In The Forrest'.

Not my favourite colours, but I'm happy with the way 

the card turned out in the end.
