Heat Embossing, DT card for HM&FMC

Hi and welcome to a brand new challenge at
House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge.

America is our host today, and America's theme is

Heat Embossing!

This theme was really challenging for me. I do embosse

 from time to time but mostly I do dry embossing. So

when this theme came up I did panic a bit!!

This is one of my favourite House Mouse images, well a lot of them are ;)

Today's sunny papers are from Bo Bunny,

I think they look lovely together with the 'Fresh Squeezed Jokester' image.

In sted of covering the lemon with Glossy Accent, as I have done before,

I heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.

On the lemon slices I used embossing powder with glitter.

And finally I used black embossing powder for the Whimsy Stamp sentiment.

I loved using the sketch from Your Next Stamp,

And here is the lovely sketch. I'm sure I'll use it again.

I'm late with my card today, sitting in my summerland with an

unstable internet connection. 

I want to apologize to you for not being around

as I 'm supposed to, leaving you some lovely comments.

 

 

I have inked up one of the cute Gnomes from Whiff of Joy,

'Wee and Christmastree', and instead of colouring the tree,

I have paper pieced it and added some bling.

The papers are from My Mind's Eye ' the '12 Day's of Christmas' collection.

The sentiment is from LOTV.

the front in miniature and my personal stamp.

Sparkling Relaxing Bubbles, A DT card for HM&FMC.

Welcome to another holiday Monday, hope your day is just

as relaxing as the little critter on my card today.

This is a midway reminder for the challenge at 

 House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge, 

this time it was Tracy's turn to choose the theme and she chose

 "Add Some Sparkle"

 - Use something on your creation that sparkles, whether it gems,

 glitter or what ever gives a sparkle.

I have made a CAS card today with 'Relaxing Bubbles', a lovely Happy Hopper.

The image is stamped directly onto the white cardstock,

and coloured with my Prisma Colour Pencils.

I have added a lot of Stickles onto all the bubbles,

Christmas in July, DT card for Stamp and Create with Magnolia.

Good morning Crafters and welcome to a sunny Friday- in my part of the world-

and a new challenge at Stamp and Create with Magnolia.

This time the theme will help to keep you cool, because we are celebrating

Christmas in July !

What so we consider a Winter themed image?:

Cold, Snow, Christmas, New Year's/Celebrations. 

Colors are: Red/Green, Gold, white, blue, etc...

I have used  'Winter Tilda' from Sweet Christmas Dreams 2011.

Sweet and a dream to colour. I have stamped some random snowflakes around

the image- but I'm not good at random!

Well well they are there....

For the first time I have used some cheesecloth on a card, 

The flower is made with my retro punch and a rose on top of it.

Papers today are from Maja Design. Blue and white are a favourite of mine.

 I borrowed this beautiful Memory Box snowflake wreath die from a frind of mine, 

and added some bling onto the die cut.

 My usual backside, with my personal stamp.

Dagens kort er sendt til en kær blogven- jeg håber det er kommet frem i tide.

 Hugs and Happy Birthday, dear Samantha! 

Stemplet er fra Saturated Canary, 'Springtime' hedder det.

Mønsterpapiret er fra Maja Design, desværre har jeg ikke ret

meget tilbage af disse flotte blå ark.

Som I kan se har jeg maskeret motivet og lavet skyer i baggrunden.

 

I et forsøg på at få tekststemplet til at ligne en blomst, 

lagde jeg et lag med Glossy Accent på.

Blomstereffekten kan vel diskuteres, men nogle gange er 

man  bare nødt til at prøve noget nyt.
Tænk hvis det funger!

Kortet er et easelkort med tag i bunden til at skrive på.

Charm og bånd er fra mine skuffer.

'Happy Birthday' er punched og pyntet med

bling, det samme er blomsterne til venstre på kortet.

Happy Summer, DT card for HM&FMC

It is time for another theme over on the

 House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge, 

this time it was Tracy's turn to choose the theme and she chose

My holiday has started, 3 weeks off from work, and I hope that I in a couple of

days can find the relaxing feeling like this little cutie here.

'In A Nutshell' the image is called, my sparkle is Stickles added 

to the blue water.

The senitment means 'Happy Summer' and is stamped onto a 

cloud made with a die from Magnolia.

The papers are from Echo Park- lovely colours.

The backside is like this today,rather simple.

Hexagon og Happy Birthday.

Nogle gange har man brug for et helt enkelt kort,

uden malet motiv og andre 'dikkedarer'.

Jeg har brugt en Hexagon die og nogle rester fra Basic Grey 'Kioshi'.

Og med udgangspunkt i en sketch hos Sketch Saturday

for et stykke tid siden, blev disse to kort til.

Tekststemplet på det lilla kort er fra LOTV,

og hjørnestemplet på det grønne  fra Norsk Stempelblad

Enklere end dette tror ikke jeg kan få det!

Jeg håber I nyder sommervarmen, det gør jeg.

Jeg har haft fri siden i søndags, og når kommende

arbejdsweekend er overstået begynder min ferie, jippi.

N for No Embellishments, DT card for ABC Christmas Challenge

Hello crafters, ABC Christmas Challenge is here with a brand new challenge for you.

I have made another surprise Pop-up card. You can find my first attempt here.

I love making folded cards, and there are so many tutorials

out there in blogland just waiting to be used.

The image is the cute 'Mr Snowman' from LOTV, I have coloured him with my

 Prisma Colour Pencils and added Perfect Pearls and Stickles

 as snow and snowflakes.

The papers is from Maja Design and the sentiment from Penny Black.

It's diffecult to take pictures showing the card as it looks, use your fantasy,

and I'm sure you'll manage. Or even better; give it a try yourself.

More Food, Midway reminder for HM&FMC

 My card for today is rather simple, a one layer card- I have stamped my image

directly onto the white cardstock. I have found a white smooth paper, perfect

for colouring with my Prisma Colour Pencils.

and heartpearls are from my stash.

The cute image is 'Seed Shooter'

and the sentiment 'Hello Friend' is from LOTV.

Sommer Tilda.

Er det endelig sommeren som er her?

Sol så langt som vejrudsigten viser, vi krydser fingre og håber.

Det passer fint for mig, for når denne arbejdsweekenden 

er overstået,har jeg fri helt til næste lørdag.

 Det havde været dejligt at bli varmet godt igennem,

og få lidt farve på de- endnu - vinterblege ben!

Jeg har været igang med mit første 'Surprise Pop-Up' kort.

Jeg har ofte set den type kort, men endnu ikke prøvet det selv.

Ikke før nu.

Jeg fandt denne tutorial på Splitcoaststampers, og så var det bare at starte.

Jeg tilpassede målene lidt undervejs.

 

Papiret er fra Maja Design.

Bånd, blomst, perler og søstjernecharm havde jeg fra før.

Stemplet er fra Magnolia 'Tilda in Key Largo' det er nyt for mig 

men ellers fra sidste års 'Summer Memories' kollektion.

Skyerne bag Tilda er lavet efter denne opskrift fra Bev. 

Tak til alle jer der laver flotte  tutorials så vi andre 

kan finde ud af tingene på en nem måde.

Her er kortet trukket ud og tekststemplerne kan ses.

Der er to ulemper ved denne type kort,

1. De er ikke lette at fotografere
2. Hvor skal jeg skrive?

Her er bagsiden af mit kort, jeg elsker den die jeg har brugt,

og med min metal adapter plade er det ikke noget problem 

at få den skåret fint ud på Cuttlebuggen.



I går, fredag, startede udfordring #13 hos
