Winter Fun, DT card for Stamp and Create with Magnolia

It's time for a new challenge at Stamp and Create with Magnolia.

The theme for the next two weeks is 

Winter Fun !

(Winter outdoor activities)

What do we consider a Winter image?

Cold, Snow, Christmas, New Year's Celebrations.

 Colours are: Red, Green, Gold, white, blue, etc...

Prize:

Stamp and Create carries a wide range of Magnolia stamps 

 at some of the lowest prices!

Edwin is out skiing, but I'm not sure if he's having fun.

The image is called 'Edwin with Snowflakes', 

and my papers today are from Maja Design.

The text is a part of the dp.

For the snowflakeborder I have used the Frosty Border die

from Memory Box and added some bling.

The other snowflake is made with a die from Marianne Design.

The backside with elements from the front of the card.

En sød gave.....

Hvert år på mit arbejde har vi en fælles pakkekalender,
 hvor alle som  har lyst kan være med.
 Vi er  ca 100 personer,så det er lidt af en kalender.

Der pakkes ikke op lørdag og søndag, så gaverne
er fordelt på hverdagene. Ca 4 stk pr dag.

På slaget 9.10- sammen med vores kaffepause-
trækkes dagens vindere. Det er altid sjovt at se
hvor opfindsomme folk har været.

Her er årets gave fra mig.

Her er udgangspunktet!

En pakke med mix mandler der skal få en make-over.

Jeg tog emballagen og tegnede den af på et mønsterpapir,

klippede og skar, og sværtede alle kanter.

Jeg var nødt til at  forstærke bunden med at stykke extra papir.

En tag med et House Mouse motiv og et stykke bånd,

og straks ser det meget finere ud.

Det er ikke altid så meget der skal til.

Anything Christmas, a HM&FMC DT card.

Finally December is here, I hope all is well with you and hope your

 Christmas preparations are now in full swing. Just remember to take time to enjoy
 and don`t let all the "just must do" take too much time.

 It is time for another theme over on the
 House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge,

 this time it was our lovely Tracy's turn to choose the theme and she chose

Anything Christmas!

A highly topical theme at this time of year,

or what do you think ?

Over the weekend, I counted my finished Christmas cards and compared
the number with them I'm gonna mail to my friends.

Yrkkkkk I'm missing at least 10 cards! 

That means I have to speed up and make some more cards.

 For todays card I have used 'Have a Ball' for the first time.

Lovely and easy to colour to fit in with the papers.

My papers are from My Mind's Eye; '12 Days of Christmas'

I have made a little banner with a Magnolia die, 

the letters says 'Christmas', I guess you figured that out yourselves ;)

The little ornament charm was meant for this card.

My usual backside with elements from the front.

Til en Scrapper.....

På Scrapsisters, som er et dansk scrapforum, er jeg med i en
gruppe der sender fødselsdagskort til hinanden.

I dag er det Olivias fødselsdag, og jeg ved at mit lille kort er kommet frem.

 Olivia laver flotte kort i en lidt anden stil end min, derfor

fik jeg lyst til at lave noget lidt anderledes end jeg plejer.

Blomster og papiret fra min fantastiske 'Think Pink Candy'

fra Live & Love Craft's passede helt perfekt.

Mønsterpapiret er fra Pion, og jeg havde

bestemt at de flotte roser skulle være i hjørnet når

 kortet var foldet. Det krævede lidt tænkearbejde....

Sammen med dette søde LOTV motiv blev det et 

'Olivia-kort' lige som jeg havde tænkt.

Jeg har lavet et Diaper fold card efter denne tutorial.

Et lille kort som lige passer til en tag med en hilsen. 

Teksten på kortet er fra Hobbyboden.

Blomster med punchede blade, Seam Binding, en lille nøgle,

lidt glitter og vips, der var det.

X for out of the boX, DT card for ABC Christmas Challenge.

We have a brand new challenge for you starting today over at 

ABC Christmas Challenge and the theme is

X for out of the boX- No square cards! 

This time Michelle is our lovely host.

No square cards...then a round one must qualify!

I made this card using some of my big round and scalloped
Spellbinder dies. The cute snowman is from WOJ,
and it's called...... 'Cute Snowman' !

And for once I haven't  made a blue and white card,
but kraft and red. Oh boy I'm always struggling with
the Distress Ink Aged Mahogany.

This time was no exception; although the red colour was dry
long ago, it smeared off onto the brown.
Look at his scarf!  Grrrrrrr!!

Well, well, as a friend of mine always says;
nobody is perfect !

The papers are from Maja Design, 'Gammeldags Jul',

they look gorgeous together with kraft.

The image is placed in front of a snowflake embossed oval die cut.

Twine, a snowflake charm and a sentiment from the design paper,

that's all.

Quick and easy, but sometimes I have to do a lot of

thinking before I get there.
