To ski or not to ski, a DT card for HM&F.

I'm her today with a midway reminder for the

ongoing challenge at House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge.

I'm hosting this challenge and my theme is

Paper Piecing!

 

I love paper piecing; taking a part og the image and cut it

out in some of the design paper. 

It can also be a way to rescue an image where the 

colouring didn't turn out the way you wanted.

I used a cute Gruffie bear ' To Ski or not to Ski' for today's card.

His scarf, boots and stiks are made in dp.

I've added some Stickles onto the image.

The embellishments are twine, a charm and

some bling added to the Memory Box die.

The backside is rather simple, my personal stamp and some dp.

fornøjet med det. Jeg ved ikke om det er farverne eller hvad.

Stemplet hedder 'Sweet Music'  og mønsterpapiret er fra LOTV.

Rød julestjerne.

Jeg er bagefter med mine julekort, så da jeg i går fandt

dette papir med julestjerner på, var det helt perfekt at lave

et midvejskort til udfordringen hos ABC Christmas Challenge.

Vi er kommet til R i alfabetet,

R for 'Red Poinsettias' -altså rød julestjerne.

Det er ikke ofte jeg laver kort uden farvelagt stempelmotiv,

men dette tekststempel fra Papirdesign, egner sig både til at bruge

 inden i kortet og på forsiden.

Mønsterpapiret er fra Echo Park, julestjernen med perler er fra Prima.

De røde runde bånd er genbrug fra dette projekt, og jeg har metervis tilbage...

I have made a birthday card using 'Balancing Act'.

Look at this cute Gruffie Bear, he is so concentrated.

As you can see I've cut out his apron from the design paper,

the papers are from 7Gypsies.

The round sentiment is from LOTV,

and the grey ribbon with the little cake charm,

is from my stash.

I didn't have enough paper to make the backside
as I wanted to, but here is the result.

R for Red Poinsettias, DT card for ABC Christmas Challenge.

It's Wednesday and time for a new letter at 

ABC Christmas Challenge.

Bettina is hosting our challenge this time:

R for Red Poinsettias!

My card is super simple, I've been playing with my new Memory Box die,

saying 'Merry Christmas'. I have just ordered the 'Happy Birthday' one, and I'm

sure I'm gonna use them both a lot.

Back to my card; the MB die, some bling and a poinsettia

from Prima with a brad and voilà, card is ready.

Well, well I feel a bit like a cheater,

but I had a couple of ideas with this die,

and couldn't wait to try some of them out!

Just like a kid getting something new.....
