C for CASE one of us...

Please give a warm welcome to one of our new

Emma is hosting her first challenge as a member of the team,
and the theme is:

C for CASE one of us.

Choose a card posted on the ABC Christmas Challenge by an
ABC Christmas Team member and be inspired to copy it = make it into your own interpretation....

Please give us a link to the card you have CASED,
or show a picture of it in your post.

From the very beginning I was sure we were going to CASE on of our own cards.
The first and only card I could think of was my L for Lyrics card.
a challenge from June 2012;  Krista from Saturated Canary
 was one of our sponsores.

So here is my new version of my card from last year.
Pretty much the same or what do you think?

Pearls, angel charm and ribbon are from my stash.

An adorable image from Saturated Canary, called 'Christmas Angel',
and some lovely papers from my favorite company, Maja Design.

Once again I have used my new Martha Stewart punch,
'Swirling Lace'.  I hope I don't wear it up!

Here is the card I've CASED, it's my card from the L for Lyrics challenge in 2012.

Our sponsor is Krista Smith from Saturated Canary.
Krista makes the most wonderful images.

Prize is 2 digi's from Krista's shop.

I hope you can come and join us at ABC Christmas Challenge.
And please take a look at my wonderful teamies work.

More Special Cut, Mid Way reminder for HM&FMC.

Here is a quick reminder for our ongoing challenge at HM&FMC

Anything Goes With a Special Cut
(this could be a special cut card, or an image showing a special cut)

 America is the lovely host.

My card with a special cut, is made with inspiration from Sue Kment.
She has a wonderful  tutorial  how to make this folded card.
Thank you, Sue.

The sweet baby mouse image is called 'Sleepy Baby'.

I do not know if you from this picture can see the way the card is folded.
I promiss you, it isn't difficult, I managed to!
The dotty paper is from Panduro Hobby.
Perfect for a little baby boy.

The card from another angel.

.
My friend Lacey from Stamp and Create has started a new challenge blog,

Stamp and Create with Magnolia.

I was lucky to have been invited by Lacey to join the DT and I didn't hesitate to accept.

Be sure to stop by and sign yourself up as a follower.

The rules are:

~ Each Challenge has a Seasonal Theme as well as a standard challenge. You must comply with both themes to enter the challenge.

~ You must use a Magnolia stamp to enter the challenges.

~ You are welcome to combine your card with as many other challenges as you wish.

~ No back linking - your entry must be a new creation.

~ You must be a follower of the challenge blog to enter the challenges.

~ You must include a link to our challenges within your entry post.

Prize:

One random participant will win 1free Magnolia Stamps of your choice from
Stamp and Create.

This is our second challenge, and the theme is:

Spring with Flowers and Blooms!

I must admit I'm a bit nervous for this, I could easily have used some of
the butterflies from my stomack on the card!

But the best thing to do is to jump into it!
Soooo here is my card.

I have used a favourite Tilda of mine, Tilda with lace jeans, she is
coloured with Distress Ink.

The papers are from Maja Design, a Sweedish company.

The poppies are made with a die from Memory Box.

I normally decorate the backside of my cards with elements
from the front. And today's card is no exception.

Now I hope I've inspired you to have a look into our challenge blog
to see what my fabolous teamies have made for this challenge!!

More B for ..... Mid-Way reminder for ABC Christmas Challenge.

We are halfway through Wilma's

B for Bows or Boys

challenge at ABC Christmas Challenge, and it's time
to give you some more inspiration.

For sponsor information please take a look here.

I have used a cute image from Stampavie ,
called 'Mistletoe and Mice'.
The pretty papers are from Glitz, I love the deep red.

The mistletoe in the right corner is made with a die
from Magnolia and decorated with pearls.

The red ribbon is from my stash, it's beautiful,
but difficult to make a proper bow with!

I hate my own handwriting- so when I saw this sentiment at Bikuben
from Papirdesign, it jumped into the basket quicker than anything else.

The border punch is a new one, I think it was in
the same shopping basket as the sentiment.

I have been a lousy blogger since Christmas,
but a brilliant crafting stuff shopper!

Well, here is the usual back side.

For more inspiration from my lovely DT buddies,
please pop over to the ABC Christmas Challenge blog.

Special Cut, DT card for HM&FMC.

It's Monday again, I can't belive how fast times flies.

have a brand new challenge for you,

This fortnight it’s our lovely teamie, America's turn to choose the theme:

Anything Goes With A Special Cut.

(use special cutting dies, show off a special paper cut,
any CUTS will do even haircuts.... lol)

My Special Cut is a folded card called a swing card or a  flip card.

I had to try it out in Copy paper a couple of times,
before it looked/turned out the way I wanted to.

But I'm pleased with the result.

The tricky thing was getting the die at the right place,
if you make a square instead of a shape, I think
it's much easier.

The image is called 'Blowing Dandelions', I think it's
one of my favourite House Mouse stamps.

I have added some glitter on to the seed.

The butterflies are made with a die from Die Namics.

The papers are a mix of Basic Grey (sugared) and Maja Design (Friends)

I found the sentiment so very perfect for the other side.

My teamies have some wonderful ideas how to interpret the
'Special Cut' theme. Please jump to the HM&FMC and be inspired.
