En lækker bog fyldt med masser af ideer til kort med House Mouse motiver.
Der følger en CD med bogen, med motiver, tekster og papir,
lige til at printe ud fra PC'en.

Jeg ved næsten ikke hvor jeg skal begynde.

Jeg har ingen erfaring med printerindstillinger og type papir,
så jeg er modtagelig for alle tips.

Jeg tror dette kan blive et af mine første projekter....

Q for Quilting, a Midway reminder..

We are halfway through Helen's Q for Quilting challenge at

ABC Christmas Challenge.

Don't panic, you still have plenty of time to join inn.

Making a card with quilting is a fantastic way to use
some of your small bits of paper leftovers.

I have used some of the first Christmas papers I bought;
it's 'Wassail' from Basic Grey.

I can't believe I still have some pieces left from that line!

The image is new, she's from a lovely Birthday blog candy

Some time ago I was asked if I would like to be
a Guest Designer at Top Tip Tuesday.

I had to think, let's say 5 secs before I said
' Who? Me? YES , I would love to!'

So here I am a few weeks later with my little creation.

Bettina is the host of this challenge, and since the
Top Tip Tuesday
is celebrating their 2 years Birthday the theme is:

Birthday Gift.

Make a gift for some one, a box or a bag
or use an image with a gift on.

A while ago I found a card similar to this at Dena's blog,
and knew at once that I would try to make one myself one day.

You can remove the top/lid, and pull up the card inside.

I have used a new Magnolia image of mine, Tilda with Daisy,
you can find it at Stamp and Create.

The beautiful purple papers are from Maja Design.
Pearls and flowers from Kort og Godt Hobby.
The leaves are made with a MS punch.

The round sentiment is from LOTV.

I don't really have a tip to share, just a little advise;
when you make a card ex like this, try to think
through what is practical to do first.

Don't do it my way, I had to glue on the ribbon
as one of the last things. That was a bit tricky!

And when you are going to use your sewing machine,
remember it's difficult to sew in adhesive!

Back to School/ at the Office, DT card for HM&FMC

Hello crafters, welcome to a new challenge at
House-Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge.

I can't believe how fast those Mondays come!

Our lovely America is hosting today, her theme is

BACK TO SCHOOL/AT THE OFFICE.

I made a shaped card for this challenge, I found the wonderful pencil tutorial here.

My pencil is a bit longer than the one in the tutorial.

The paper is from Sandylion.

I find the sentiment from Kraftin' Kimmie
so perfect for my image.

I think we all have from time to time.

Hvem kan modstå ønsket om at lave et fødselsdagskort

Han er min yngste søns favorit til kort.

det er slet ikke svært, prøv selv.

Q for Quilting, DT card for ABC Christmas Challenge.

Better late than never, I'm sorry for being late posting
my card for the new challenge at ABC Christmas Challenge.

I spend the main part of yesterday afternoon and night
at the hospital with my youngest son.

He had an accident at school and broke his arm,
and had to have a surgery to get it fixed.

But we are back home now, the surgery was - so far-successful.

My little (13 years!) man was so brave, I'm so proud of him.



Now back to the new challenge!

Helen is the one hosting today, and the theme is

Q for Quilting.

Make a patchwork quilt effect on your card/project.

Helen has made a great step by step tutorial if you do need it.

I've inked up one of my oldest stamps,
' A Hug for Ike' from Whipper Snapper.
I can't understand why it's such a long time since
I've used this image,
because I find it so cute, and easy to colour!

The papers are from Maja Design.
I cut out four squares and shared each of them in two.

Easy peasy!

I cut out a circle in acetate, run it through'
a snowflake Cuttlebug folder,
and mounted Ike and Mike on to it.

The pretty ribbon is from IKEA!

Double smell of summer.. , DT card for HM&FMC.

Today I'd like to show you a card I have made as a
midway reminder for our ongoing challenge at

I have used one of my favourite colours for my card,

Jeg håber at dette kort har haft travelt og er kommet
vel frem til modtageren, det kom lidt sent afsted!

Stemplet er fra Sugar Nellie 'Butterflies & Pigtails' hedder det.
Det er første gang det er i brug.

Mønsterpapiret er fra Basic Grey, 'Kissing Booth';
ikke de farver jeg bruger oftest, men arkene var så flotte,
og hoppede op i handlekurven af sig selv.

Sommerfuglene er punched ud med en Martha Stewart punch
og klippet fra hinanden.

Det runde tekststempel er fra Whimsy Stamps,
perler fra Kort og Godt.

Båndet med 'Happy Birthday' vandt jeg hos Tanja
for længe siden. Her passede det helt perfekt.
